Anuska Pritchard

Never : Went To Police About Alleged 'Confession'

Pritchard has never gone to the Police with details of the alleged 'confession'. If the Police had not contacted her in January 2014, after two years it is unlikely she would have ever reported this to the Police.

Police were made aware of this alleged confession, following the review of a complaint made to Police from Jemma's Mum in July 2012, regarding the text harassment from Anuska's Mum, Samantha Pritchard.

Two of the text messages received from Samantha:

"we aue but u made crap for us so why shud that poor man b in jail whn he didnt rape u"
"watch out u may gt raped gain fuktard"

When asked in Court why she did not contact the Police as soon as the alleged confession was made by Jemma, she replied "i don't know". In one of her statements she states it is because "i was afraid and scared".

Within two months of Cassim being found guilty, Anuska was back living with her parents, over 100 miles away from Jemma.

Inconsistent Stories : Tencreek Incident

The CPS claimed that a circumstantial incident that occurred in a caravan park in September 2008, was the 'practice run' for the alleged false allegation against Cassim in November 2010.

Jemma was at the caravan park with Anuska, Anuska's brother Samuel and Anusks's parents Samantha and John.

There are multiple inconsistencies and contradictions across their numerous Police statements, removing any credibility of the Pritchards.

These include:
  1. Samantha, John and Anuska all claim to have individually and on their own, to have been the first person to find Jemma, after she was hit in the face
  2. John states he found Jemma on his way to the clubhouse, going after everyone else because he does not drink; in a later statement John states he found Jemma after leaving the clubhouse, still with his pint in his hand as he had paid for it
  3. Anuska states she was on her own and found Jemma first
  4. Samantha states she was on her own and found Jemma first
  5. John states he was the one who shouted 'rape'; Samantha states it was Jemma
  6. No one called the Police
  7. Samantha states she called for an ambulance; the 999 call record shows it was Samuel who called, stating "she's my sister's girlfriend"
  8. John states that the camp guards were running around after he shouted rape; Anuska states there were no security men

Sold Her Story : Before The Trial Ended

Anuska sold her exclusive story to the papers before the Jury had reached a verdict.

Not illegal in any way, but concerning, when she claims Jemma made a false allegation for money.

We have a copy of a press photo used in Anuska's story, which we cannot show due to copyright, but the image received directly from the paper shows the time and date taken; 20.35 on 5 July 2017.

In her statements and within this article, Anuska refers to being controlled by Jemma and never allowed out of the house.

This is contradicted by her own Police statement where she states:

"I was at work when Jemma text me to say she was going to the doctors and then the Police, therefore she would not be able to pick me up".
